I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Jason for his time entire time at EDC. I knew he brought something special to the table back then, but It's only now in his passing, that I really see just how far his remarkable reach was.
He will be missed.

My heart aches for his family. He was loved by our run community to depths he never really knew.
Jason was my first half marathon clinic instructor. He was so inspiring and I made it through that race day thanks to him. We will continue to be inspired by his legacy and inspire others on our journey.
His spirit lives on in all of us whom he influenced.

For those of us that had the pleasure of knowing him and working with him, we saw a dedicated man to his craft, a knowledgeable and sought after colleague, a friend with a great sense of humor, reliable and dependable. His accomplishments outside of work and his devotion to helping others, his sense of community will be greatly missed.
He made a great impact on EDC, and we will treasure and remember him for years to come. Gone way too soon.
Rest In Peace Jay

I was lucky to have worked with Jason multiple times over my career at EDC. He was such a wonderful person to work with because he always had a kind word or joke, something to lift everyone up no matter what we were working on. And he always went out of his way to say something kind or let you know that you were doing a good job. It was my pleasure to have known him. My sincere condolences to his family.

Jason, will be remembered fondly, that I have no doubt, he always showed great kindness in all our interactions, and it was not just words but also in his actions, like in how much he loved his nephews, I would often see him attend events and celebrated their milestones, it was always lovely to see. I know he will be terribly missed by his Family and Friends, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to know him. My sincere condolences

What a great loss to Canada and the world. Jason will be missed by so many as a family member, in the business world, as an athlete, coach, and mentor to many but most of all as a friend. His effervescent simile and kindness touched us all. Our thoughts go out to his family during this sad time.

Jason was a strong advocate and champion for mental health. I am a co-captain of a Team at EDC that raises awareness and funds every year for Mental Health services at The Royal. Jason was a team member, supporter and friend. This year several of us did the walk/run and dedicated it to Jason. I will miss seeing him in the halls, catching up over coffee...and just having him around. My heart goes out to the entire family and his friends. He was a treasure and will never be forgotten. I will miss you Jason - you were loved. xx

I’m truly sorry for your loss, please accept my most heartfelt sympathies.
Jason and I struck up our friendship when we sat at the same table at an EDC annual dinner dance, many years ago, and we’d been working on the same team since 2018. Jason and I worked the late shift and often times found ourselves sitting around the table in our pod talking about life, families, fitness, food, and of course we always left time to gripe about work.
Jason was an extraordinary, sensitive, compassionate human being. Jason had a pure heart and genuinely cared about people. No matter what he was going through, he always made the time to ask you how you were doing and always with a smile on his face. He inspired me and many to be a better person.
EDC will NEVER know a more dedicated employee. With Jason at the helm, EDC was in the best hands.
It is my privilege to be able to call him my friend. Jason will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

I've been trying to find the words to share about Jason for a few days now. He was the type of person we should all aspire to be - kind, generous, motivated, curious, empathetic. While completing my Run For Women's Mental Health this past weekend, I kept Jason in my thoughts and knew that he was the wind at my back. My deepest condolences to his friends, coworkers and family.

Jason is someone who brought so much joy to my life. High fives on the soccer field, unexpected times we ran into each other and shared good times and seeing his smiling face as Adrienne, Gabby and I cheered "Go Jason" as he accompanied an amazing group of inspirational runners on race weekend were just a few of the great memories I have of him. He will be missed.

So saddened to hear the news of Jason's passing. I was blessed to be able to work with Jason for many years at EDC, and he was always so willing to help, so incredibly smart, and had a wonderful way with words. He always had a smile, always said good morning, and even over the past 16 months he made a point to reach out to say hi virtually. I will truly miss him. RIP my friend.

Please accept my most heartfelt condolences on the loss of Jason . I worked with him for the past 8 years at EDC on many projects and he was the glue that held our systems together. No one knew more about how to make things work then Jason. Most recently we worked together on the CEBA program, and without Jason we never would have launched this program so fast, Jason was so proud of the difference he made to help a Canadians. I will miss our chats and his amazing laugh. RIP my friend.Jody Bradley

There are no words to express how much Jason meant to so many people, and to the running community Jason’s passion and caring will be remembered by thousands who step to their next start line.
Jason was an inspiration to all who knew him, but to his family Jason was a beloved son and brother who is gone far too soon. We are so thankful that we were blessed with the opportunity to know Jason, to see what true determination and humanity really are, and I hope that we can all be inspired by his life and his actions to be better and to help those around us who maybe need a helping hand or a kind word.

Jason was my buddy and my next door neighbor for 11 years. He welcomed me to the ‘hood. We shared many laughs, many times in my backyard. He was the guy who helped you. Who listened. Who never judged you.
We shared our work stories, our personal stories. He looked out for me. Jason volunteered every year at the CHEO bbq. He went out of his way to help his neighbors. Our community where he lived called him the Flash (Flash Gordon). We lost a soldier. He was, after all, Hood gingerbread house judge. Jason’s laugh was infectious.
May your beautiful soul find peace and love and more laughter, as you have given to so many others.
